William “Bill” Leonard Hahn

William “Bill” Leonard Hahn, 77, of Kansas City, KS passed away August 29, 2025. Memorial services will be held from 5:00pm-7:00pm on Friday, September 12, 2025 at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd, Raytown, MO 64133. 

Bill was born on December 2, 1947 in Kansas City, KS. Bill graduated from Washington High School in 1966. He then attended Emporia State University until he was drafted into the United States Army in 1969 and was honorably discharged in 1971. He resided in the Kansas City area working as a Professional Pyrotechnician for Wald’s and a Flight Line Manager at Executive Beechcraft until he retired in 2013. Bill loved fireworks, hunting, bowling, gardening and was an avid gun enthusiast. Every hobby he pursued he mastered with perfection. More than anything, his heart belonged to those he loved-his family and friends.  

He was preceded in death by: father, Leonard Thomas Hahn; mother, Viola Lee Mc Adams Hahn; sister, Leonore Vose; and son,  Brian Hahn.

Survivors include: brother & sister-in-law, Bob & Bonnie Hahn; daughter & son-in-law, Jo Judd & John Fangman; daughter in-law, Chris Hahn; son & daughter-in-law, Cody & Lorena Hahn; son & daughter-in-law, Joel & Karla Hahn; and daughter, Meghan Peterson; grandchildren, Nevaeh Hahn, Bryleigh Hahn, Amelia Hahn, Kaden Hahn, Tristan Hahn, Jacob Hahn, Anna Hahn, and Jacoby Judd; and great-grandchild, Paisley Hahn.
