William Yates “WY” Garrison

WY Garrison passed away on June 27, 2023 at home. He was born at Fristoe, Missouri on July 26, 1934, the eldest son of William Garrison and Mary Allen-Garrison.

He had 3 brothers all of whom are now deceased (Charles Aia Garrison, Clayton E. Garrison and Roy Allen Garrison).

WY also has 3 sisters, all of whom are living (Mary Ethel Schultz, Effie Irene Rank, and Evelyn Estella Bristow).

WY lived nearly all of his life in Benton County, Missouri. He married Mary Louise Reno and they lived together as husband and wife for over 40 years until her death in 1995. WY was a skilled mechanic; he raised livestock; and enjoyed hunting.

WY is also survived by Joan Woodell, and the families of Patricia Arnett, Randy Reno, and Adam Arnett.

There will be a graveside service on Monday, July 3, 2023 at 11:00am at Cable Ridge Cemetery, Edwards, Missouri where WY will be interred next to Mary Garrison.
