Heartland Cremation & Burial Society began when Andrew and Elizabeth Loos noticed a need for a different kind of funeral and cremation company in the Midwest. They started in 2001 in Kansas City, Missouri, with a focus on offering cremation services and affordable funerals. They became the first bona fide Cremation Society in the Greater Kansas City Area. Later, in 2004, they expanded to Overland Park, Kansas, providing the same affordable services there. As they grew, Joe and Rachel Kinney established an office in Central Missouri in 2006 to help families in places like Columbia and Jefferson City. Heartland now offers Celebration of Life services in their newest Blue Springs, MO location.

The staff at Heartland is known for being exceptional, and providing kindness and support to their communities. They've received specialized training to assist Veterans and aim to honor each family's unique wishes, whether for a simple cremation, affordable burial, or a special celebration of life. Their priority is always the families they serve.
