Sharon Riley

Sharon Riley, 84, of Overland Park, KS passed away on September 30, 2024. Memorial services will be held at Bethany Lutheran Church (9101 Lamar Avenue, Overland Park, KS 66207) on Tuesday, October 15th at 11:30 a.m. Visitation will start at 10:30 a.m. and a light lunch will follow the service at Bethany Lutheran Church.

Sharon Riley was born on July 21, 1940 and married Terry Burger on August 27, 1960. She earned her Associates Degree in Interior Design while raising three children. She used her interior design skills as a realtor and remained a realtor for the entirety of her career. And, along this path, the Bethany Lutheran Church became her second home with close fellowship and a strong reverence to God.

Sharon is preceded in death by Roger Riley (Father), Kathryn Riley (Mother), and Ed Riley (Brother).

Surviving children include Brad Burger (Robin), Brenae Tapp (Josh), and Bryan Burger (Erika).

Surviving grandchildren include Kristiena Garlich (Eric), Heather Burger (Andrew), Mastin Tapp (Haley), and Khael Tapp.

Surviving great-grandchildren include Bryson Garlich, Shay Garlich, and Auburn Garlich.

Flowers can be sent to the Bethany Lutheran Church.
