Maria Victoria Cedillo was born on August 17, 1984. She was the child of Juan P. Cedillo and the late Vickie Lea Bryant. She was called back to our Lord’s kingdom on October 16, 2024 in Kansas City, Mo. She had a long and hard fight with triple negative breast cancer and never gave up until she took her last breath.
Maria is survived by her four kids, Michale Guadalupe Lasett Cedillo, Maria Alajandra Veronica Cedillo, Romilus Elijah James Cedillo, and Robert Isreal Alexander Cedillo. Along with her sisters, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Maria took pride in raising her chickens, gardening, and studying holistic healing and lifestyles with her four children. She was previously a cake decorator/baker at Hyvee Bakery for almost 10 years. She enjoyed providing baked goods for any family celebration/get together. As many of you know, Maria was a very wild and spirited woman. She loved to be around her big crazy family, no matter the circumstance. She loved hard and unconditionally, even when it was tough love. She was a warrior and faced every obstacle that life threw at her head on. She will be deeply missed by many but never forgotten.
I have so many memories of Victoria, especially as a little girl. She will be so missed by all. I pray for comfort to her children who are going through a very difficult time ❤️🙏.May she Rest In Peace.. So thankful she’s not suffering anymore!! Hugs to the family ❤️❤️🤗
I can’t believe your gone sister! You meant so much to me! Teaching me a little Spanish culture here and there and even introducing me to Selena when we were young teenagers! I loved our times together where we would just laugh for hours! When we seen each other we were always cheesing because we knew how to pick right back up after anytime! I am praying for Vee and all the kiddos you helped raise but especially to your beautiful babies!
Oh my heart, my childhood BEST friend😭 No matter time or distance we always talked like we never left one another.
You stayed so strong and positive till the end. I was on my way in 2 weeks and it’s been really messing with me I didn’t come sooner but God needed you and I’m taking comfort in your not hurting anymore and now my forever angel 👼🏽 Praying for your babies and family. Hug Vickie & Juanita for me. Until we meet again my friend❤️
So sorry for your loss (Vita). My condolences to Juan, Veronica, Christina, her 4 kids, & the Cedillo family. May The Lord give each one of you the strength & comfort to get thru this difficult moment. Prayers to the family.
I have good memories of her when she was a kid. Mathew, Azar, & Vita would be underneath the table eating dad’s Twinkies, Chocolates Cup Cakes, or Snowball. They were very smart to find a place to hide.
Vita, You’re in a better place no more pain or suffering. Rest In Peace Niece. You will be missed but not forgotten. ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
