David and I served together for 2 years on the ward council and he came happily and faithfully to our early morning meetings which was an incredible example to me of his love for the Gospel. With everything he managed for his family, he was still happy to serve with a smile. I was visiting Jackie a little bit ago and he came over to say hi to her. Jokes and stories were at the ready. He brought sunshine with him. He was young at heart!

So sorry for your families loss. If the measure of a life well lived is the caliber of the children you raised, it puts you at the top.

David was a friend in high school and a teammate on the football team. He never lost his dry sense of humor. We shared a round of golf with Ronnie Mikel and Jerry Gibson at our last class reunion. A really fine guy.
