Guadalupe Morales

Guadalupe Morales, born on April 03,1930, in Kansas City, MO, has taken the pathway to heaven on January 11, 2025, surrounded by many loved ones.

She was proceeded in death by her father and mother Pedro and Regina Toledo Leon, husband Agapito, infant son, and Grandson Vince Morales, two sisters Sicairo Medina and Juanita Frear and two brothers Pete and Steve Leon. She is  survived by her sons, Carlos(Sharon), Rick (Marsha),  Chris(Janet), and Pete(Tersea). Grandchildren Christina (Carl) Trober, Kara Roedel, Marni (Brian) Kaeding,  Falon(Nick) Giles, Chad,  Paul, Clay and Jayce Morales, 13 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great Great grandchildren, brother Juan Leon,  sister Bertha  Houser and many nieces and nephews.

Lupe was a seamstress and supervisor for the textile industry, owned her own beauty shop, and worked for Catholic Charities. Her hobbies included watercolor painting, gardening, camping, and  fishing.  She loved  God, her cats, her home at Truman Lake, and traveling, but the thing she loved the most was spending time with her family.

Her final days were spent at Little Sisters of the Poor, where she took part in all the activities, attended mass regularly, sang in the choir and made many new friends.  In lieu of flowers, please consider making a contribution to Little Sisters of the Poor, Kansas City.

Mom was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who will be forever in our hearts and will live on thru our cherished memories.

A visitation and funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2025 at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, Raytown, MO.  Visitation begins at 10am followed by the funeral at 11am.

    I’m so glad I got to meet such a wonderful and loving lady! She always wanted to speak Spanish with me. She was a beautiful soul that captured the hearts of everyone she met. I will miss her dearly. May you rest in peace Miss Lupe.
