Robert Duke Holmes

Robert Duke Holmes, 75, of Raytown, MO passed away January 16, 2025. 

Robert was born in October 20, 1949 in Bartlesville, OK. He attended high school at College High School in Bartlesville, OK. In 1971, Robert graduated from OSU. He had various jobs including his favorite job as a police officer in Colorado Springs where he was the youngest detective sergeant. In his free time, he enjoyed geocaching, playing PlayStation, and watching shows like cops and fights. 

He was preceded in death by: grandparents, Murry and Jo Holmes and Harold and Eileen Bowler; parents, Bruce and Nona Holmes; and uncle, Horace Alvin “Pete” Holmes. 

Survivors include: wife of 25 years, Debby Holmes of the home; sister, Cindy (Dean) Strella of Elk Grove, CA; brother, Kurt (Carol) Holmes of Oklahoma City, OK; and daughter, Nikki.
