Isaac Regehr, age 22, of Overland Park, Kansas, passed away quietly into the arms of his Savior, on August 30, 2025. He was born on February 13, 2003, at Menorah Hospital in Overland Park.
Isaac’s life was filled with love, laughter, and deep connections with his family and friends. Isaac brought joy to everyone around him, serving and caring for others even when he was already busy or in need of care himself. He truly lived up to the meaning of his names: Isaac (laughter and joy) Jonathan (gift from God) he truly brought the gifts of laughter and joy to others. Isaac loved his cats, gaming, spending time with friends and family. His brilliant, analytical mind were evident even as a young toddler, and all throughout his life.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Eugene and Shirley McNutt.
Isaac is survived by his parents, Jonathan and Nicole Regehr; brothers, Declan and Colin; paternal grandparents, Hank and Joyce Regehr; aunts and uncles, Amy McNutt, Mike and Aimee McNutt, and Charissa and Tate Westerman; and cousins Elli and Marlowe Giesbrecht and Holly and Toby McNutt.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Nexus Church, 15101 College Blvd., Lenexa, Kansas.
There is no formal dress code but if you want, the family suggests your best (cargo) shorts and a shirt you think Isaac would have liked.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you do something intentional and tangible with your own family in Isaac’s memory. If possible, take a group selfie and share it with the hashtag #forIsaacRegehr.

Isaac was such a joyful young man. He will be missed. I can’t wait to watch him snag his first fish with the bow when Jesus returns.
