In Loving Memory of Marilou Biagi
August 7, 1943 – October 31, 2025
Marilou Biagi, beloved mother, wife, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2025, in Belton, Missouri, at the age of 82.
Born in Maryville, Missouri, on August 7, 1943, Marilou lived a life full of love, adventure, and dedication. In 1976, she moved to Blue Springs, Missouri, and later settled in Creede, Colorado, where she and her husband Dale enjoyed their retirement along the beautiful Rio Grande.
Marilou was preceded in death by her husband, Dale R. Biagi (February 2023); her sister Barbara King (Gene) of Lantana, Florida; and her parents, Kathleen and Loran G. Randel of Jefferson City, Missouri.
She is survived by her daughters Janice Weaver (Gary) of Belton, Missouri, and Marcia Kester-Sperber (Dwayne) of Delafield, Wisconsin; her stepchildren Kevin Biagi (Karen) of Fairhope, Alabama, and Debbie Wheeler (Mike) of Garden City, Missouri; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, with one more on the way.
Marilou’s love for animals was a defining part of her life. She never spent a day of her adult life without a dog by her side and found joy in caring for other pets during her retirement. Her affection extended to her cherished pot belly pig, who brought her endless delight.
She and Dale shared a passion for travel, often exploring the country on motorcycle trips with friends. Education was deeply important to Marilou; she returned to school while raising her children, earning her bachelor’s degree from UMKC and later a master’s degree from St. Mary’s College.
Throughout her career, Marilou worked as a secretary, transcribing medical records and serving in various law firms and banks. Her dedication, warmth, and resilience touched everyone who knew her.
Marilou will be deeply missed and fondly remembered for her unwavering love, adventurous spirit, and the joy she brought to those around her.
