Lori Ann McManus, 62, of Jefferson City, Missouri passed away on Sunday December 7th.
Lori was born on November 4th, 1963 in Columbia, Missouri to Joseph Ronald Ogden and Mary Jean Thomas. She graduated from Southern Boone County High School in 1981. Lori married Thomas McManus on February 9th, 1992. She worked for the City of Ashland from 1983 to 1993 then for the Public Defenders Office from 1996 until 2009.
Lori was preceded in death by daughter Breanna Nichole McManus, son Brandon Thomas McManus, and father Joseph Ronald Ogden. She is survived by husband Thomas McManus, mother Mary McQuegge and step-father Bill, step-mother Nancy Ogden, brothers John Ogden, Mark Ogden and wife Bridget, and David Ogden, mother-in-law Doris Blank, brothers-in-law James and wife Sapna, Thias and wife Linda, Robert, and sister-in-law Kathleen, along with many nieces and nephews. Lori was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Lori is my God given mother. I met her 1st, when her husband were stationed in California. Her blessing and love helped me to cope with difficult time of my life. She always said with her smile, “it will be alright” Regardless of difficult situations. I hope and pray 🙏 now she is in haven with other God’s angeles 🙏. I will miss you mama, I’ll miss your smile.
