Priscilla Lynn Crank of Independence, Mo, passed peacefully on Saturday December 20th, at the age of 84 surrounded by her loving family.
Priscilla was born on January 8th, 1941 in Freistatt, Mo. to Melvin and Lillie Block. As a faithful follower of Jesus Christ, she lived a life grounded in love, grace, and quiet strength. Priscilla found deep joy in her relationship with God, spending time with her family, creating beautiful quilts, traveling, and solving large puzzles.
She will be lovingly remembered for her gentleness, wisdom, faithfulness, and compassion towards everyone she encountered. Priscilla survived by her children Ricky (Tina) Chandler, Diana (David) Pennington, John Chandler; and her grandchildren ; Erika (Crandall) Johnston, Hailey (Ashley) Schroeder, Natalie (Lucas) Taylor, Alyssa (Jonathan) Blue, Tabetha (Jeff ) Sturgeon, and Matthew Chandler; great grandchildren Wyatt, Clayton and Eliza Schroeder, Marci and Jovie Taylor; Chandler, Clark and Evelyn Johnston, Aurora, Ezra, Sophie and Addie Blue, Mason and Aleena Chandler, and Aidan Sturgeon
Priscilla preceded in death by her parents Melvin and Lillie Block, husband John David Chandler (1998), and second husband Ronald Crank (2025), her brother Jeryl Wayne Block and wife Sharon Kay Block (Morris), granddaughter Jessica Chandler (1986),
A visitation to honor her beautiful life will be held on Friday December 26th from 2pm-4pm at Heartland Cremation and Burial Society, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd, Raytown, MO 64133.
