Kenneth Brette Jones

Kenneth Brette Jones
August 7, 1966 – January 12, 2026

Kenneth Brette Jones, known to most as Kenny, passed into eternal life on January 12, 2026. He was born on August 7, 1966, in St. Charles, Missouri.

From the time he was a little boy, Kenny carried one deep desire in his heart—to have a family. That longing found its truest fulfillment when, as a young man, he gave his life to Jesus Christ. When the Lord called him to minister to the family of God around the world, Kenny answered without hesitation: “Yes.”

Across several continents and many countries, God used Kenny to connect, strengthen, and encourage our Christian family within the Body of Christ. Through prayer and healing ministry, he poured out love, faith, and hope, always pointing people back to the heart of the Father.

During his travels, Kenny met the love of his life, Stephanie. They shared 13 years of marriage and were blessed with seven beautiful children. In this season, Kenny found profound joy in speaking into the lives of his children—nurturing their God-given gifts and teaching them to hear the voice of the Lord. He often took his older children with him to gatherings and ministry trips, allowing them to grow in their spiritual gifts and become a blessing to others.

Throughout his life, Kenny fulfilled many roles: husband, father, friend, mentor and minister. Yet above all else, the way he most wanted to be known was as a Beloved Son of his Heavenly Father.

After a long and fierce fight for life, Kenny now waits in his forever home to be reunited with his loving wife, Stephanie; his two grown children, Hillary and Zachary; and his seven precious young children, Jarah, Jorel, Zoewey, Serafeen, Jesse, Veritan, and Azura.

His life was marked by obedience, faith, love for family, and devotion to God—and his legacy will continue through all those whose lives he touched.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 23, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., at Leavenworth National Cemetery, 150 Muncie Rd, Leavenworth, KS 66048.

I am one of those Kenny put a great and valuable legacy in. He deeply engraved my life, which will remain a great influence on my and my family’ s life.
I always appreciated a lot being a friend of him and his beautiful family.

He is a great example for me I can look upon as a brave and obedient disciple, being incredibly strong in endurance and suffering, and always fully dedicated to the Lord in all situations, always thinking of things impact on his eternity with his beloved bridegroom Jesus. This is another legacy I win out of his amazing fight against the sickness.

And he has overcome so many heavy things on his way, still loving Jesus, believing that the truth is still true and knowing that He is worth every price – this is great victory, too!

I know our Lord will make all things well with his precious family anyway!

    Dear Stephanie and the kids,
We, the family of Kids Learning Centre are so sad to hear about the passing of our dear friend, partner in ministry and brother in Christ – Kenny.
We are upholding you in our prayers that God’s love, comfort and peace will surround you during this difficult time. And that His grace will strengthen you and carry you through each day. Kenny was a dear friend, a great blessing and inspiration to the teachers and children of Kids Learning Centre, Kathmandu. Though the time he spent with us was short, his love for Jesus and passion for mission made a great impact in the lives of both teachers and students. I could picture the Lord widely opening His arms towards Kenny saying, ” Welcome home, my good and faithful servant”. We’ll always treasure the memories we had with Kenny. He will always be missed and remembered in our hearts dearly.
