Warren D. Biswell Jr.

Warren D Biswell Jr. ended his battle with cancer on Monday, February 16, 2026.

Born in Glendale CA, May 30, 1946, Warren was third oldest in a family of ten children of Rilma Bessie Largent Biswell and Warren D. Biswell Sr., both deceased.

He is survived by his siblings: Kathy Liggett (David); Beverly Biswell; George Biswell (Anne); Loyd Biswell (Judy); Lovinia Biswell; sister-in-law Linda Biswell (Tim), his Uncle Clifford and Aunt Shirley Biswell; son Brian, six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Warren and Bobbie were married in 1969.

Warren was preceded in death by his parents, Warren Sr. and Rilma, as well as his wife Bobbie (2006); his son Warren D (WD) Biswell III (2017); brothers Tim (2019) (Linda); and John (2022); his sister Trudy Kelley (2025); and infant sister Julia (1959).

Warren attended Van Horn High School in Independence MO and Humansville (MO) High School, and joined the United States Marine Corps in 1963. He earned his GED in the Marine Corps and was honorably discharged in 1967.

Warren enjoyed many activities during his life, including camping, bowling, square dancing, playing cards, especially poker, and playing baseball and volleyball.

Warren was a life-long member of the Sprinkler Fitters International Union.

His ashes will be interred at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery at Higginsville, date TBD.

    I lost my closest and dearest sister to cancer, too, last Thanksgiving, so I feel your loss! But I m also so sorry for your loss and your family s! I know the are in a much better place, but it doesn’t help the now empty hole then left behind in our heart, while we want them removed from this painful world🙏we will always miss them and still love them, dearly?! May God comfort and lift up both our hearts and soul, in this time of loss, and sorrow!🌹❣️🙏💜🤗😇
