Cheryl (Dugan) Seymour December 30, 1962 – December 14, 2025 Cheryl L. Seymour, 62, of Raytown, Missouri, passed away suddenly on December 14, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents Reba and Guy Dugan, her grandson Travis, and nephew Nicholas Dunham.
Cheryl had a gift for joy. She could become excited at the smallest spark – running into an old friend, hearing from one of her sisters who lived out of town, or simply finishing a task she set her mind to. Whether she had just painted her toenails or returned from a successful shopping trip, she believed life always offered a reason to celebrate.
Holidays and special occasions were her playground. Cheryl loved decorating her home for every season, with Valentine’s Day holding a special place in her heart. She never missed a birthday or anniversary, and she made sure everyone around her felt seen, loved, and celebrated.
Those who knew Cheryl will remember her as happy, smiling, and always in a good mood. She was a loving and caring mother, a devoted and joyful grandmother, and a perfect, endlessly entertaining wife. Her warmth filled every room, and her spirit made ordinary days feel special.
Cheryl’s legacy lives on in the family she cherished, the joy she spread so naturally, and the countless memories she created with those fortunate to know her. She will be missed but never forgotten.
