Darrell Johnson, 56, of Atchison, KS passed away peacefully on March 22, 2026. He was born on March 6, 1970 in Neptune Township, NJ.

Darrel was a man of many talents who loved his kids and helping others. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, camping, four wheeling, collecting things, and spending his free time with family and friends. Darrell was someone who lived life to the fullest and enjoyed every minute of it. He was always the life of the party. He will be missed by all of those who knew him.

Darrell was preceded in death by: mother, Laura Theurer; and step father, Barry Theurer.

Survivors include: son, Brandon (Kelly) Johnson; son, Xavier Tatman; daughter, Harley Johnson; siblings, Marty (Maxine) Hasten and Patty Hambright; grandkids, Lailie and Adelyn Johnson; and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial will be held on April 4, 2026 at Wyandotte County Lake, Shelter House 10 Access Rd, Kansas City, KS 66109 beginning at 2:00 pm​.

You came and visit me in my dreams and I heard you call me pocantans for the last time and felt you hug me for the last time. God I was so blessed to have a man like you come into my life. But dam I just wanted a Lil more time is all I was asking for.
