Paul N. White

Paul N. White of Kansas City, Missouri passed away on Saturday May 23rd at Menorah hospital under hospice care.

Paul was born on December 1st 1940, in Huntington, West Virginia and moved permanently to Kansas City in 1963. He worked as a draftsman for most of his adult life before retiring as a computer aided draftsman after 25 years of service at Burns and McDonnell. Paul attended the Church of Christ all his life and had been a member of Red Bridge Church of Christ starting in 1980 and served as a deacon for many years and also as an elder for a short time. He most recently had been attending South Point Church of Christ for several years.

Paul was preceded in death by his, father German White, mother Anna (Edwards) White, step-mother Amanda (Roberts) White, brother Charles “Ed” Meddings, and daughter Dawn Skoog.

Paul is survived by his wife of 43 years Donna (Sanders) White of Kansas City, Missouri, step sister Vickie White of West Virginia, and 4 children: Alan White (Teresa) of Kansas City, Kansas, son in law Hal Skoog (Dawn) of Virginia, Robert White (Annie) of Grain valley Missouri, Lindsey Morrison (Tim) of Stanley Kansas, and Cameron White of Overland Park.

He also leaves 10 grandchildren, Michelle Neher (Randy) of Piper Kansas, Wade Allan of Olathe, Kansas, Patrick Skoog (Rachel) of Omaha Nebraska, Brian Skoog (Rebecca) of Maryland, Chris White (Amber) of Grain Valley Missouri, Casey White of West Virginia, Audrey White of Independence, Missouri, Hayden White of Independence Missouri, Connor Morrison of Stanley Kansas, and Taylor Morrison of Stanley Kansas. Paul also leaves 12 great grandchildren.

A private service will be held for the family on June 20th. In lieu of flowers we ask that donations be made to Saint Jude’s Children’s Hospital, or the ASPCA.
