William (Bill) Michael Bischoff

William (Bill) Michael Bischoff, 80, of Mary’s Home, MO, passed away on June 5th, 2026. Born on May 29th, 1946, in Fort Wayne, IN, to Donna Bellis and Willian 

Bischoff, who both preceded him in death

Bill spent his younger life in Fort Wayne, IN where he met and married his first wife, Gloria Hitzfield. From that marriage he was blessed with three children. Bill 

and his family move to Vienna, MO in 1977. He spent his time working on the family farm and was employed at the Langenburg Hat Company in Vienna until a tragic work accident that left him unable to continue working

Bill moved to Jefferson City in the early 80’s where he met and married Rachel (Vaughn) Bischoff. He was an avid NASCAR fan, Tony Stewart being one of his favorites. He enjoyed listening to country music, telling stories, and spending time fishing. He was a dog lover and had several faithful companies throughout his life. Those that knew him know he was not one to hold back when voicing himself, though he also had a nurturing side as well

Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Rachel Bischoff and his two brothers, Phil Bischoff and Rob Bischoff, both of Indiana. He is survived by his two sisters

June Genovesie of Florida and Mirian Joyce of Indiana. He is survived by his three children, Michelle (Darian) Bax of Mary’s Home, Michael (Tina) Bischoff of Jefferson City, and Matthew Bischoff of St. Thomas; three step children, David Vaughn Sr. of Hallsville, Robbie (Mary) Vaughn of Wardsville, and Danny (Allison) Vaughn of Wardsville. Bill is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 9 great- grandchildren

A private remembrance of his life will be held in Mary’s Home, MO
