Rachel Manjarrez

Rachel Manjarrez, 71, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away peacefully on June 17, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on July 25, 1954, in Chicago, Illinois to her parents Adelita Velasquez and John Murillo Sr. Rachel lived in Kansas City and spent her life working in Customer Service.

She was preceded in death by her father, John Murillo, Sr.; mother, Adelita Murillo; daughter, Rosa Gonzales; and brother, Sam Murillo Sr.

Rachel is survived by her sons, Juan Gonzales Jr. and Micheal Gonzales, of Kansas City; grandchildren: Jasmine Turner, Kayne, Lanessa, Graciana, Giavonna, Ameliana and Mariano Gonzales; great-grandson, Damon Gonzales-Angela; siblings: Ruben Murillo, John Murillo Jr., Theresa and Jesse Rodriquez, William and Vickie Murillo and Jesus and Stephanie Murillo; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and lots of family friends.

Services will be on June 29, 2026.
Viewing from 10:00am-11:00am.
Funeral Service will be 11:00am-12:00pm.
Burial at 12:30pm.
Reception at Heart Church KC following cemetery at 2:00pm. Any food donation, drop off at Heart Church KC by 1:30pm,
