Gregory (Gregg) D. Hurley of Independence, Missouri, passed away on June 30, 2026, following complications from cancer.
Gregg is survived by his wife, Dawn Hurley; his parents, Doyle and Margie Hurley; his brother, Jeffrey Hurley and family; his daughter, Sheri Hurley and family; and his sons, Brian and Justin Hurley and their families.
Gregg was a simple man who worked hard throughout his life and cared deeply for his family. He especially loved being a grandpa and cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren. He enjoyed listening to classic rock and Elvis Presley and watching shows like Walker, Texas Ranger.
Gregg will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew and loved him.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, July 10, 2026, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, 802 NW Vesper St., Blue Springs, Missouri 64015.
