Warren Edward Bannister

Master sergeant Warren Edward Bannister, 73, was called away to be with his Lord in the early morning hours Thursday July 9th, 2026. Warren served honorably with distinction as a Senior Non-Commissioned Officer, and combat veteran through multiple wars and conflicts for our country and will be missed beyond measure.

Even after a lifetime of commitment to his country, Warren will be remembered more for the life, love, and commitment he had to his family and friends. Despite all the wisdom and leadership Warren had ready for anyone in need, above all he stood ready with a goofy face or comment to make anyone laugh, and he was an endless well of awful dad jokes that was sure to lift your spirits.

Warren is survived by the love of his life Maria Laura Bannister. Married October 10th, 2012, Warren being overwhelmed by his love for her he had another wedding and service on April 13th, 2013, just to have the experience again.He is also survived by his loving sisters Cecelia Wakefield and Charity Cygal and his children, sons Robert Jacob Bannister, Stephen Sean Bachelor of Science in Tourism, Andre Dominique Bachelor of Science in Business Accountancy and daughter Francesca Nicole Bachelor of Science in Architecture.

Cremation will take place at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, and his ashes will be laid to rest at his home in the Philippines.

Everyone who remembers him should celebrate Warren’s life in their own way. In lieu of flowers, his family would hope that you will do an unexpected and unsolicited act of kindness for someone in his memory and top it off with a corny dad joke.

Warren, you will be missed daily and eternally loved by each of us whose lives have were enriched immeasurably simply by knowing you and having been loved by you.
