Shirley Virginia Christopher, 91, of Overland Park, KS passed away at home on August 2, 2026.
A celebration of life will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, August 22, 2026 at St. Mark’s Methodist Church, Overland Park, KS.
Shirley was born July 10, 1935 in Emporia, KS. She met the love of her life, John at 15 and got married at 17 with three children to follow. Shirley was a faithful follower of our Lord. She sang in the choir her whole life and loved her family.
She was preceded in death by: husband, John D. Christopher; father, Forrest B. Davis; and mother, Martha L. Davis.
Survivors include: sister, Donna Diamonte; children, Teri Harden, Michael Christopher and John P. Christopher; grandchildren: Derek, Sara, Jacob, Jonathan, Megan, Jesse, Grace, William, John K; and four great-grandchildren, Nathan, Haylie, Aubrey and Natalie.
Memorial contributions are suggested to: St. Marks Methodist Church.
