Janet Dennison

Janet Dennison, age 91, of Independence, Missouri, passed away peacefully on July 30, 2026. She was born on July 6, 1935, in Keokuk, Iowa.

Janet was a lifelong resident of Lee’s Summit, Missouri. She worked as a Phlebotomist at Truman Medical East in Lee’s Summit for 38 years.
She enjoyed traveling with her family and friends, spending time with her grandchildren, crocheting and playing cards. She was an accomplished seamstress.

Janet was preceded in death by parents, Clayton and Corinne Thompson; husband, Robert Dennison; son, Rick Dennison; sister, Patricia Gutting. She is survived by daughter, Ann Dennison; sister, Jil McGraw; grandson, Nicholas Randol (Alisa); and great grandchildren, Vincenzo, Carmine, Ronan and Kieran.
