Let the family know you care by sharing this tribute
Brennan Michael Peebles, 29, passed away on August 13, 2026.
Brennan was born on November 19, 1996, to John and Penny (Butler) Peebles. He graduated from Blue Springs High School in 2015. He worked for Mars Corporation, where he took great pride in his work and the promotions he earned throughout his time there. Brennan cared about the way he presented himself and took pride in the life he was building and the things he worked hard to accomplish.
Brennan had a huge heart and deeply loved and valued his family. He shared a particularly special bond with his nephews, whom he absolutely adored—and they adored him just as much. His presence in their lives and in the lives of his family will be deeply missed.
Being around Brennan felt safe, warm, carefree, and often silly. His happiness was contagious; his unmistakable laugh and signature side-eye when something struck him as funny could have everyone laughing right along with him. Brennan was patient, kind, accepting, and always mindful of making those around him feel comfortable. He had an especially gentle way with children and animals and was, at heart, a caretaker of others and a protector of peace.
Brennan loved animals, especially his cats, Chester and Chowder, music, plants, and being in nature. The beach was one of his happy places, and he loved summertime and the warmth that came with it.
Brennan is survived by his father, John Peebles; his brother, Cameron (Kristin) Peebles; his sisters, Taylor (Evan) Ragan and Landon Peebles; his nephews, Carmen, Ember, Elliot, and Briar; and his niece, Penny.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Penny Peebles, and his grandparents.
Brennan will be remembered for his big heart, the love he had for his family, and the many memories he leaves behind. He was deeply loved, and his absence will be felt beyond measure by those who knew and loved him.
A private celebration of Brennan’s life will be held by his family.
Our thoughts, love, and prayers are with you all.
