Jason Alan Hamlin, born June 1, 1979, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2026, at KU Medical Center after a courageous battle against cancer.
Jason had a passion for his hometown football team, the Kansas City Chiefs. A loyal fan, he cherished every moment spent cheering on his team. Jason found immense joy in the company of his niece and nephews, Bryant, Kayleb, and Kali Hamlin.
Professionally, Jason was an employee at Intergrated Opening Solutions, where he worked in the warehouse division.
Jason is survived by his loving mother, Kelly Hamlin, who was his lifelong confidante and cheerleader. His sister Erin Hamlin and brother Nathan Hamlin, as well as his aunts and uncles. Jason’s loyal dog, Tessa, who was his constant companion through thick and thin, will miss him dearly.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff at KU Medical Center for their exceptional care and support during Jason’s final days.
