Kendall Lee Stark

Kendall Lee Stark, of Peculiar, Missouri, passed away on Monday, August 31st 2026, after a battle with bladder cancer over the previous year. He met his family in Heaven that day, including his parents, Woody and Cora Stark, and sisters Connie Jean and Vicki Jo, along with many other family members who had gone before him. Remaining family includes his two daughters, Brandy Bollinger (Donny) and Amanda Lie (Hank), niece Christina Huggins (Tim), grandchildren Alex Sleyster, Kenzy Bollinger, Donny Bollinger, Mason Roe, Gabbi Bollinger, Oliver Lie, Adelane Lie, Payton Bollinger, and great-nieces Lizzi and Charli Huggins. His church family loves him deeply and will grieve his loss alongside us.

Ken was born in Nevada, MO, on September 19th, 1960. He lived his childhood in Grandview MO with his siblings and parents on a small property, where his love for horses grew into a way of life. He married as a young man and had two children, then settled in Belton MO where they raised their girls. He eventually moved to Peculiar, MO into a small home on a piece of land, where he lived out the rest of his days.

Ken enjoyed music, coaching soccer, fishing, watching football, and hunting until he was unable to do so due to an injury He passed on his love of those things to his children and grandchildren whenever possible. He owned a contracting business and was a talented architect and woodworker.

Faith in God was a big part of his journey on this earth, and it served him well during his fight with cancer. His family is proud of his endurance and willingness to fight, and we are happy he is at peace with his Heavenly Father.

There will be a Celebration of Life on Tuesday, September 8th at 10 am at Real Life Assembly of God Church at 180 W Broadway St, Peculiar, MO 64078.

An absolute and unwavering love for animals was a huge part of who Ken was. His most recent pets were rescued dogs, who provided companionship that carried him through his toughest days.
