It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brady Mc Watson, Jr., who left us on August 20, 2026. Born in Kansas City, KS, on October 3, 1967, Brady was a beloved son to Brady, Sr. and Rae Watson. He was predeceased by his mother, Ms. Tressie J. Watson, whose memory he cherished deeply.
Brady’s life was a testament to kindness, dedication, and a passion for life. He grew up in the vibrant community of Kansas City, attending Westport High School, where he made lifelong friends and nurtured his love for all things automotive. Brady’s enthusiasm for cars was legendary; from race cars to classic models, he found joy in every engine roar and tire squeal. His skill in electronics and enthusiasm for assembling stereo systems brought him great satisfaction, as did the pride he took in maintaining a well-manicured lawn and a perfectly detailed car.
In 1999, Brady married the love of his life, Denise VanHara, in Kansas City, MO. Together, they celebrated 25 years of marriage, raising two wonderful children, Brandi Watson and Braden Watson, while also nurturing their family life with Brady Watson, III. Brady’s family was his greatest joy, and he was a devoted husband and father, ever-present with a quick wit and warm smile.
Brady was a dedicated Construction Inspector for the Missouri Department of Transportation in Lee’s Summit, MO, where he worked tirelessly for over 20 years. His colleagues admired him for his impeccable work ethic and willingness to lend a hand, echoing the kindness he showed to friends and strangers alike. Brady was a proud member of the Kansas City Community Church, where he found fellowship and purpose.
He leaves behind a loving family who will miss him dearly, including his siblings Dorothy Edwards, Ann Coleman, Lisa Lewis, Robert Watson, Sarah Watson, Terri Watson, and Carolyn Prim, as well as a host of nieces and nephews. His close friend, Ernest “Charles” Banks, will also remember Brady fondly for their shared laughter and camaraderie.
A Celebration of Life Ceremony in Brady’s honor will be held on September 12, 2026, from 2PM-4PM at the Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, located at 802 NW Vesper Street, Blue Springs, MO 64015. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance and celebration of a life well-lived.
The Watson family extends their heartfelt gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. They will never forget the prayers, concern, and thoughtful expressions of sympathy from all who knew and loved Brady.
Brady Mc Watson, Jr. will be remembered as a beacon of kindness and joy, whose legacy will forever remain in the hearts of those he touched.

My condolences to the family Brady was a great guy, friends with any demeanor to be respect and I admire him for this friendly demeanor and the respect he showed others. He is in a better place, no more pain and suffering.. and we cherish the great times that we had with him.
