Justine Marie Green

Justine Marie Green (Precious) was born on September 6, 1991, to Andrea Lockett and Michael Green, both of Kansas City, Missouri. She lived a life marked by kindness, compassion, and a deep love for those around her.

Justine was preceded in death by her father, Michael Green; maternal grandparents, Booker Grant and Inez Lockett; aunts, Virgilene Lockett, Joyce Lockett and Greta Lockett, and Sidra Lockett; uncle, Arthur Lockett and her beloved cousins, Lee Eric and Jaden. Though they departed this earthly journey before her, their memories remained close to her heart throughout her life.

Justine graduated from high school and distinguished herself as a talented athlete. As a dedicated runner, she proudly competed at the state level and achieved a remarkable 10th place finish, demonstrating determination, discipline, and perseverance. Driven by a desire to help others, Justine worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at St. Joe Hospital. She cared for her patients with dignity, compassion, and respect, leaving a lasting impression on the countless lives she touched through her services.

Justine, a loving, caring, and friendly person, had a special gift for making others feel welcome and valued. Her warm spirit, generous heart, and genuine concern for others touched the lives of so many. Family and friends were the center of her world, and she treasured every moment spent with those she loved. Justine’s life was a beautiful example of love, strength, and selflessness.

Justine leaves behind Precious memories that will forever live on in the hearts of her family, Andrea Lockett (mother); Maurice Handson (stepfather); Brandon and Dwayne Lewis (brothers) of Kansas City; Michelle Green (sister); Wendy Cahill (Anthony) and Barbara Lockett (aunts); Marvin (Naim) Lockett, Lamont Lockett, Darryl Lockett, Hurshel (Tracy) Lockett and Justin Lockett (uncles) all of Kansas City, Missouri, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.

While words cannot fully express the loss felt by those of us who loved her, her legacy of kindness and compassion will continue to inspire everyone whose life she touched. Forever loved, deeply missed, and never forgotten.
