April Lynn Provencher

April Lynn Provencher, 33, of Overland Park, Kansas, passed away unexpectedly on October 5, 2026.

April attended Kansas State University for two years, where she was a proud member of the Delta Delta Delta Sorority, before transferring to The University of Kansas, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Though she graduated a Jayhawk, April was always a Wildcat at heart!

April leaves behind a lifetime of love, laughter, and countless memories. A beloved sister, April had a heart of gold and a gift for making everyone feel like a friend. She never met a stranger and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. She had a big heart, an unforgettable personality, and a special love for Machine Gun Kelly.

April touched more lives than she may have ever realized, and her presence will be deeply missed by her family, her many friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will forever be loved and never forgotten.

April was preceded in death by her Grandparents, Walter and Marjorie (Fluffy) Gradisar, and Robert and Mary Provencher, and her beloved Uncle John Gradisar. She is survived by her parents, William (Bill) and Linda Provencher, her sister, Ashley Provencher, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, October 18, from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. at The Bar Prairie Village, 5316 W. 95th Street, Prairie Village, Kansas, where we will watch the Chiefs game in honor of April (their #1 fan).
