Janis L. Ross

Janis Ross, 65, Kansas City, MO passed away January 21, 2013 at Research Medical Center after a lengthy illness.  A memorial gathering will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Heartland Cremation and Burial Society, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd., Raytown, MO 64133.  Ms. Ross was born March 10, 1947 in Independence, MO.  She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. Janis was preceded in death by her parents Benjamin II and Mary (Richardson) Bowman, a sister, a brother, a nephew, and a grandson.  She leaves behind to mourn her passing a sister Joyce Ramel, children; Terri Sprofera (Chuck Guignon)  Rolan Ross (Peggy), Joseph Sprofera, Gary Ross, Lisa Ross and Nancy Ross, grandchildren; Shane Quigg, Carly Guignon, Trenton Ross, Kayla Ross and Shawna Ross, nephew Rick Ramel and his family, niece Mary Ann Ray and her family, nephew Kenny Ray, and aunts and uncles. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions should be made to the family to offset funeral costs. Please, no flowers
