Lola JoAnn “Jo” Sippel

Lola JoAnn “Jo” Sippel, 75, Raytown, MO, passed away June 22, 2004, at Park Place Care Center. Cremation. Visitation will be held 6-7:30 p.m. Monday, June 28, at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd., Raytown, MO. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Grace Hospice, 9200 Ward Parkway, Ste. 410, Kansas City, MO 64114 or the American Cancer Society. Mrs. Sippel was born May 8, 1929 in Ft. Scott, KS, to Joseph F. Lambdin and Emma F. Koch. She graduated from Fulton High School, Fulton, KS in 1947. She worked at Western Casualty Co. in Ft. Scott before moving to Kansas City. She married Robert D. Sippel in 1953 in Wichita, KS. She worked at several insurance companies in the Wichita area and retired from Haas Wilkerson Insurance Co. after 15 years. Mrs. Sippel was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Bob; son, Greg; granddaughter, Alyss; and sister, Florence Geil.
