Catherine Erker, 79, Overland Park, KS, passed away August 2, 2004. A funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, August 7, 2004, at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Olathe, KS. Friends may call 9-10 a.m. prior to the Mass at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Catholic Community Hospice. Catherine was born February 23, 1925, in Queens, NY. She was a member of Ascension Catholic Church, AARP Chapter 2333, Senior Friends and Brown & Gold Club. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Joseph Erker; daughters, Patricia Erker, Great Neck, NY, Geraldine Erker, Leawood, KS; son, Thomas Joseph Erker, Olathe, KS; sisters, Eleanor Peterson, Frances Peterson, Florence Gionta, all of Queens, NY; grandchildren, Ryan, Lauren, Andrew, Katie, Erin & Alex Erker, Olathe, KS.
