Charles T. Roberts (Tom), 75, of Kansas City, MO, passed away peacefully in his home Wednesday, April, 12, 2006. He was surrounded by his family and two of his longtime friends Ivan and Louise Elder. He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Jean, his daughter, Donna Christine and son Joseph Roberts, his siblings, George, Verna and Pearl. He is survived by his brother Frank Roberts of Medford, Wisconsin and his sisters, Eleanor Smith of Kansas City, Jenny Langteau of Colby, Wisconsin, Edna Perrin of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Dorothy Knitschield of Washington. He is also survived by his sons, William J Roberts, Charles T Roberts Jr., of the home, and his son, James Michael Roberts of Kansas City. His son, Clifford Roberts and his wife Daisy Roberts of Kansas City. His granddaughter, Sheena M. and great granddaughter, Trinity R of Kansas City. He also leaves behind a special member of the family Milton Brittain of the home. He spent 23 years serving his country in the United States Army. He served two tours of duty in Vietnam during the conflict. He was born June 7, 1930 in Jump Falls, Wisconsin. He was the youngest in his family. Visitation will be held at 11-1 p.m. at Heartland Cremation and Burial Society, 6113 Building 2, Blue Ridge Boulevard, Raytown, MO. Graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. East Slope Memorial Gardens, Riverside, MO. If you would prefer to make donations, the family suggests, donations, in memory to Tom, to be given to the American Cancer Society or Cross Roads Hospice.
