Ahmad Hasan-El, 65, of Kansas City, MO, passed away Dec. 4, 2006, at Indian Meadows Nursing Center in Overland Park, KS. A memorial service is planned for Friday Dec. 8 at Crosspoint Community Church, 10508 Hillcrest Rd, Kansas City, MO, 64134, at 11 AM. There will also be a graveside service at Leavenworth National Cemetery in Leavenworth, KS, on Monday Dec. 11, at 2:30 PM. Ahmad was preceded in death by his parents, Naomi and Elgin Mitchell, and a sister Erma. He is survived by three children, Roland J. Mitchell Jr., Ana Renea Jordan, and Elden L. Mitchell Sr. all of Kansas City. Also surviving are two brothers, Jerry Mitchell Sr., and Ralph Mitchell; three sisters, Beverly Warren, Francella Hayes, and Vivian Welch; ten grandchildren, two greatgrandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
