Steven Emerson

Steven Bradford Emerson passed away at KU Medical Center on April 27, 2007. Steve was born in Ft. Wayne, Indiana on March 10, 1954 to Carol and Bill Emerson. Steve graduated from Dow High School in Midland, Michigan and moved with his parents to Johnson County in 1975. Steve was a long time resident of Shawnee with 3 sons, William, Jacob and Lucas, step-daughter, Jennifer Looper, grandson, Sebastian Emerson, and loving wife Kimberly. Family members are Steve’s brother David Emerson and sister, Janet Sears, his father, Bill, all of Johnson County. Steve was a key employee and founding member of the family owned business, Blue Valley Publications, of Shawnee from 1987 to 2003. A memorial Service and Celebration of Steve’s life will be held at his father’s home, 4728 Black Swan Drive, Shawnee, at 1 p.m. Saturday May 5, 2007. For information call 913-631-3600.
