Michael Ray Armstead passed away November 5, 2007 at the Veterans Hospital in Columbia at the age of 55. He is survived by one daughter, Christina Michelle Bliss of Farmington, three grandsons, Shawn and Devin Militzer and Logan Buckley all of Farmington as well as several nieces and nephews of Montgomery City. He served nine years from 1970 ? 1979 in the U.S. Navy. Michael was a loving father, grandfather, uncle and friend and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his parents Clyde Washington and Johnie Lou (Bridges) Armstead, one brother Jerry Dan Armstead and two sisters, Ruby Darlene Crane and Paul McHugh.
