Collie Arnold, 88, DeSoto, KS, passed away April 29, 2008. Services will be held at Warren McElwain/Eudora Chapel in Eudora, KS. Visitation will be at 2:00 p.m. followed by a Memorial Service at 3:00 on Saturday, May 3rd. He was born May 2, 1919 in Sylmore, AR, the eldest child of Vetus Arnold and Angeline Moody. Collie moved from Calico Rock, AR to DeSoto, to work at the Sunflower Ammunition Plant as a carpenter in 1952 and retired in 1981. His greatest passions in life, other than his family and friends, were fishing, antiquing and telling a good joke. Mr. Arnold is survived by his wife, Snowdean, and his four daughters, Debbie and husband Terry Kester of Riverside, CA; Evelyn and husband Don Bourland of Grandbury, TX; Pam and husband Earl Murphy of Miami, OK; Karen and husband Robert Lasley of Lawrence, KS. He also leaves behind 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and six brothers and sisters
