Norma was such a beautiful asset to our core group at CBS. She had sent me occasion uplifting messages….(man, I’m going to miss her).
I know she is singing praises at the Lords feet!
I am so thankful for the opportunity to meet such a spiritual woman. She is truly awesome.
Norma was a truly beautiful woman and her faith in God was always in evidence.
I’m so sorry for your loss. I taught 4th grade with Norma for 5 years. She was a wonderful role model for me. How lucky I am to have known her. She will be missed.
Our love, thoughts & prayers are with you–It was so good to see Norma last summer in PA. I will always remember the good times.
I taught English in China for a year with Norma in 1999, and her wonderful sense of humor, kind heart and love for God will always be with me. She was a treasure of a lady and I will miss her. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family.
I was a student to Norma when she taught in our university from 1999 to 2002. I am so sorry that I am too late to know about this, when I asked my friend to search for Norma’s information in America. I sent her several emails in the past few months but received no reply from her, which is really weird to me, because she never ignored my emails based on my experience over the years. She is such a wonderful woman that I would never forget as well as her teaching and influences on me in my early age. I would never forget her, my dear American mama.
here I am finally, I’ve just noticed this site; Norma, our love, thoughts & prayers are with you forever; Here is what you (God’s angel) share with us: 1 Corinthians 13:4–8a
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. (NIV)
Dearest Norma, thanks for allowing me to use the name “NORMA” in the past 6.5 years. I left that company and am YVONNE again, you told me I’m the “gift from God”, I will stick to it forever. My biggest regret is that you couldn’t attend our wedding, which you foretold 12 years ago, and we finally made it. It’s your love and prayer that lead us to this path of new life. It’s never enough to say THANK YOU for what you had done for us. LOVE AND MISS YOU FOREVER, YOU ARE ALWAY UNIQUE AND ADORABLE!
Dearest Lemley:
You are as an angel to our family. You gave me a better brother, a wonderful sister-in-law and the passion towards finding my own path. You were actually the first person that I spoke English with. It was still vivid in my mind that your department was neat, the cookies you cooked was amazing , and your smile was so warm that I even forgot I could barely speak English at that time. Unconditional love, that’s the keyword I pick for you. May you rest in piece, may you smile everyday, may your spirit stay forever.
Dear Norma,
I love you and miss you! May you rest in peace.
Love, Emily
Dear Miss Lemley-
The recent passing of your colleague Vince Facchiano led me to look for you today, and I’m so sorry to be too late to tell you personally how much I appreciated you as a teacher and as a human being. Thank you for your charm, wit and stunning accent. Thank you for teaching us all about the explorers to the New World, and how to say Kamehameha. Thanks for showing us that a woman can be smart, fierce, physically imposing, and always a lady.
