Bonnie Peacock

Bonnie L. Peacock, age 67, of Sibley, Mo., went home to be with the Lord on June 10, 2008. Bonnie was born to William H. and Hazel (McClary) Ormsbee on Sept. 9, 1940, in Onaway, Mich. She married Carl Peacock in October of 1964. Bonnie was the beloved mother of Anne Marie (Calvin) Buesing of Independence, Mo., Jim (Laura) Peacock of Independence, Scott Peacock of Sibley, Mo., and Rob Peacock of Independence. Beloved Nanny to Crystal, Emily, Justin, Katie, and Abby. She is also survived by her mother, Hazel Ormsbee of Independence; sister, Sally (Jerry) Benham, brother, Bill Ormsbee, and sister, Nancy Carpenter and husband William. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Peacock; and her father, Bill Ormsbee Sr. Bonnie grew up and married in Onaway and lived there until she moved her family to Missouri in 1985. There she was employed by A-Z Manufacturing until her death. She was loved by all who knew her. Visitation will be held June 14, at 1 p.m. and memorial service at 2 p.m. at the Buckner Restoration Church on Twyman Rd. near Fort Osage High School.
