William Sanders

William Alfred Sanders, 68, of Boonville passed away, Saturday, September 6 at University Hospital in Columbia. A memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m., Thursday, September 10, 2009 at the First Assembly of God Church, 1100 N. 7^th St. in Columbia with Pastor Tracy Cook officiating. William was born December 10, 1940 in Columbia, MO to the late Charles and Kathryn (Shaw) Sanders. He entered into the United States Army on February 17, 1958 and received an honorable discharge on February 16, 1961. William is survived by his wife of 39 years, Grace Sanders, one daughter; Shelly Sherrick and her husband Mike, two sons; Curtis Sanders and William Sanders and his wife Ursula, one brother; Olaf Towsley, one sister; Bonnie Simpson and her husband Robert as well as nine grandchildren; Kaylia, Tony and Todd Kitchen, Ashley, Emily, Willow, Becky, Ryan and Tyler Sanders. William was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to many who will dearly miss him.
