Walter R. Bebout, 60, Kansas City, Missouri, died September 11, 2009 in a car accident. He was born May 15, 1949 in Henryetta, Oklahoma. Walter recently retired as Director of Government Relations for the American Kennel Club. He was preceded in death by: mother, Mathilda Bebout; father, Meredith Bebout; and brother, Doug Bebout. He is survived by wife, Cindie Bebout, Kansas City, MO.

Walt will be greatly missed by all of us in the Heartland French Bulldog Club. He was a guiding light for us and LOVED the Frenchies. It was a pleasure to work with him and too know him. BLessings, Joan Gfeller

Cindie, Walt was a wonderful man, a great human being, all around. He was always someone you could count on, whether for correct information or just a place to vent. Dave and I were looking forward to getting involved in his new club ventures. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him and many who didn’t. Walter touched many, many lives.
