Allen Todd

Allen G. Todd, 81. Kansas City, MO, passed away October 27, 2009. A mass of Christian burial will be held 11 AM Friday October 30, 2009 at St. Matthew the Apostle Catholic Church, 8001 Longview Rd, Kansas City, MO 64134. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 10 AM. Graveside services will be held at Leavenworth National Cemetery, 2:30 PM, Friday Oct. 30, 2009. Mr. Todd was born April 22, 1928 in Paris, Illinois. He grew up on a farm near Paris, and joined the U.S. Air Force at the age of 17. Allen was a retired U.S. Air force veteran, he served in World War II, Korea and Vietnam. Allen married his beloved wife, Honora P. Jensen on March 4, 1960, and they were married for 49 years. Allen had an amazing sense of humor and was a much loved husband, father, grandfather and friend, he will be in our hearts forevermore. Allen loved to fish, and golf and was a member of an Air Force golf team, almost turning pro. He was also proud to be a lifelong Mason. Allen was preceded in death by his parents, Sylvia and Gordon Todd, and a sister Allena Henry. Survivors include his beautiful wife Honora P. Todd, his daughters, Candee Chadwick, Bonnie Jensen Price, and Donna Jones, sons in law Ron Chadwick, Roger Price, and Jimmy Jones. Grandchildren Jennica Chadwick, Theresa Jones, James Jones, and Janice Jones, and an aunt, Lucille Givens, and many other loving family members and friends.
