Linda-Mae Poynter, 63, of Kansas City passed away Aug. 21, 2010 at home. A memorial service will be held Aug. 25, at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society with visitation at 6 p.m., and funeral at 7 p.m. Ms. Poynter was born on June 4, 1947 in Compton, CA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry. Survivors include 3 sons: Jerry, of Kansas City, Sean, of Liberty, and Kevin, of Kansas City; 2 brothers, Sonny and Ollie; 8 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild.
