Patricia "Pat" Hess Carlin, 72, of Lee’s Summit, Mo, and formerly of Cassville and Chillicothe, Mo passed away Saturday, October 9, 2010 of cancer in Lee’s Summit, MO. Ms. Carlin was born October 29, 1937 in Cassville, MO to Merwin & Jewel (Edwards) Hess. Pat is survived by her children; Kent Carlin and wife Donna of Omaha, NE, Paige Carlin and husband Arthur B. Crozier of New York, NY, Charles Carlin and wife Sara of Bonita Springs, FL; brother Burl Hess and wife Charlotte of Cassville, MO.; Norma Rayfield and husband Stewart of St. Louis, MO. Four grandchildren Katie Carlin, Eric Carlin, Lily Crozier, and Finnian Crozier; nieces and nephews. A private service is being planned for a future date. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
