Ret. T/Sgt. Arlen Bones Brandt of Scranton – Sunrise 7/8/29 – Sunset 2/15/12. Son of William Fred Brandt and Edna Mae Kurz. Arlen married Beverly Fox Aug. 30, 1955. They have two daughters, Tana Brandt, Scranton, Arlena (Kevin) Clements, Carbondale; one son, William Brandt, Scranton; four granddaughters, Karly Brandt (Tiffany Johnson), Topeka, Loralie Brandt, Topeka, Leota Rogers, Topeka, Emily (Daniel) Merrill, Fort Hood, Texas; one grandson, Curtis Rogers (Ashley Sullivan), Carbondale; three great-granddaughters, Haley, Trinity, Isabella Merrill. Survived by two sisters, Arlene and Dolly, California; one brother, Burdette Brandt, California; special friends Bob & Nancy Hinkle, Rusty Morris & Deuce. Preceded in death by one sister, Darlene; five brothers, William, Darwin, Alvern, Edward, Don. The family requests no flowers. Visit from 5:00-8:00 p.m. with family Monday 2/20 at 516 E. 6th St., Scranton, KS.
