Marc C. Hake

Marc Hake, 63, passed away at home in Lees Summit on Friday, August 9, 2013.  Marc was born November 18, 1949, in Tipton, MO.  He graduated from Tipton High School in 1968.  He entered the US Marine Corps in July, 1968.  He served in Vietnam from February, 1969, to January, 1970.  He was wounded in action twice and was awarded the Purple Heart.  He worked as a journeyman carpenter, most recently in the Kansas City area. 

He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Skaggs-Hake; his mother and step father, Stella & Fred Krohn of Independence, MO.; a sister, Remy Wagner of Columbia, MO.; five brothers, Conrad Hake of Eugene, MO., Gilbert Hake of Hartsburg, MO., Andrew Hake of Jefferson City, MO., Harry Hake of Jefferson City, MO., and Leo Hake of Coffeyville, KS.  He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Hake. 

His remains will be cremated and celebration of life will be at a later date. 

In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to wayside waifs.
