Kevin Sean O’Hara, 63 years old, passed away October 28, 2015. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 4 at 10:00am, followed by a funeral mass at 11:00am at Our Lady of the Presentation Catholic Church, 130 NW Murray Road, Lee’s Summit, MO 64081.
Kevin was born January 17, 1952. He was a pipefitter, Local #533, for many years. In life he only knew friends and in death he leaves us all much diminished yet happy in the knowledge of his place in heaven. Known to his friends as “the man of a thousand jokes”, we laugh with the many happy memories he left us and know he smiles as we smile in remembrance. God bless you buddy. We will miss you forever.
Kevin is preceded in death by his parents, Casey and Margaret O’Hara, and brother, Casey O’Hara. He leaves behind his sister, Maureen Bates and husband Bill; brother, Mike O’Hara and wife Cindy; sister, Patty Kinder and husband Lonnie; daughters, Lisa Moberly, Michelle Frisbie and husband Devin, Katie Webber and husband Matt; seven grandchildren; 14 nieces and nephews.
to be blessed with a family like you individuals. God Bless KO and all the O’ Haras
Kevin, buddy, rest well and take that sense of humor with you to heaven. Those of us in the Gardens know how much we enjoyed life together, and the hijinks we got involved in. Best to you, Casey and all your family already in the new life and to those you leave here, God’s mercy and protection be theirs. Take it easy buddy! Ed Griffin & Family
I bet your charming all the saints in heaven, our Irish Laddie!!! Some of the best times of my life were spent with the OHara family in Saint Catherine’s Gardens. And you were always in the middle of a good time.
You will be missed however I look forward to seeing you in heaven!!!
So difficult to accept our loss of this fine human being. Such a joy to have been a friend of his… We would laugh ourselves into tears; now I’m crying w/o him God bless you, Kevin. And thank you, Mark. (Hope to move back to KC in 2016). GO ROYALS!!!!!!!!!
Just 1 week ago you gave yourself an Irish Wake. What a gift that was for you and your family and friends. Sadly I missed it but I was there in spirit. Jun, Peg and Casey are happy to have you with them. We will all miss your smile and your wonderful sense of humor. Love to all the O’Hara’s, you are all in my prayers.

Katie “cats” my thoughts and prayers are with you. I will always remember the fun times I had with your dad. I hold a special place in my heart for the summer of 1970, when he took me on every “date” he had with your mom!! He was a very truly special person. God bless him.

Kevin’s light will always shine! His light shines in our precious memories of his soul touching ours; he shines in our laughter as we remember him; and he shines throughout our lives as we walk forward knowing he still walks with us! We love you Kevin! Your essence gave the world beauty and laughter!
