Alice Elaine Reed

Alice Elaine (Bell) Reed, 58, Kansas City, Missouri passed away May 14, 2016.  A visitation will be held 6-7:30 PM, Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd, Raytown, Missouri 64133.  Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM, Thursday, May 19, 2016 at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society.  Burial in Mound Grove Cemetery, Independence, Missouri.  Because Alice was kind hearted and charitable, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice in her name.

Alice a devoted wife and loving mother and grandmother was born July 7, 1957 in Kansas City, Missouri.  She was interested in and studied nursing.  Alice will be remembered for her love of animals, music, attending concerts and her great sense of humor.  She loved God and her grandchildren were her life.

She was preceded in death by; paternal grandparents, Milford & Bessie Bell and maternal grandparents, Jesse & Lillian Houchin; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Clyde & Leota Reed.  Survivors include; husband, Glaude Reed, Kansas City, Missouri; sons and daughters-in-law, John & Kara Anderson and their children, Katie Cummings & Liam Anderson, Independence, Missouri; Robert Reed & Vilma Vanzant, Independence, Missouri; Jordan & Mistie Reed and children, Catherine & Cristin Kemp, Lees Summit, Missouri; mother, Helen Holt, Independence, Missouri; siblings, Patricia Pearson, Paul Bell, Debbie Sweigart, Linda Karo, Jeannie Brackett and Julie Draper, many nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives.

    We were more then siblings? I would try to walk in your Shadows I wanted to be like you, cause you have been that one person I looked up to you????. I thought we would be their for one another. I wanted to see you hold your hand,tell you how much I L????ve You. I Wish that God would give me all of your Pain. Just to see you SMILE again, just like when we were little kid’s. You have a peace of my Heart when you went in the arms of our Father Jesus Christ… I’ll see you soon…Linda ????
