Nina M Sage

Nina M. Sage of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away Sunday, November 27, 2016. A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM, December 1, 2016 at Grace Point Baptist Church, 10415 Chestnut Dr, Kansas City, MO 64137 .

Nina was born on May 15, 1931 in Pattonsburg, Missouri, to Joseph and Lilly Talley. She graduated from Paseo High School. Nina was a very successful realtor in the Kansas City metro area who was employed at Homefinders, Hardin Stockton, and Caldwell Bankers. During her career she won many awards including Sales Person of the Year,  Dale Carnegie’s top speaker award. She volunteered at St Joseph’s hospital and helped with Meals On Wheels.

Nina was preceded in death by her husband Russell (Jerry) Sage. They shared 45 years together. She leaves behind daughters; Kathy Reynolds, Pam Harris, Susie (Ron) Evans, and son, David (Paula) Sage; granddaughters, Lisa Reynolds, Lauren Field, Kate (Andre) Newsom, Lesley (Nick) Fargo, Liz Mathewson; grandsons, Cary (Jen) Reynolds, Nick Matherson, and Chris Malay; and great grand children, Cheyenne and Austin Reynolds, Olivia Mori, Aidan and Neena Field, Cavin Newsom, and Enzo Farro; and great-great granddaughter Everly Mori.

She will be remembered for her devotion to her family, as she helped many, and her love of cards especially poker.

    Aunt Nina was such a wonderful woman, loving mother and a caring soul. Family mattered most to her and she will truly be missed by many many people. Love u much Aunt Nina and much love to my cousins who are grieving at this time. I love you all.

    Nina was a very loving and warm hearted person and i am so sorry for the familys loss i know that when she is spoken of in the future it will be of what a kind and wonderful person she was!

    Kent and I want to offer our condolences of the loss of your beloved mother.We will never forget Thanksgiving at her home many years ago when KCMO had a snow storm and we could not get to Kent’s moms home in Columbia, Mo. She said come on over to my house, no reason to be alone on Thanksgiving. She made us feel so welcomed. She as your mom will truly be missed by her children Kathy, Pam, Susie and David and also her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and others that knew her. Let her wondetful success in life and the love for you all be some great memories to carry in your hearts forever.
