I am so broken to know that my good friend left us. Terry and I worked together daily at the Fullerton Arboretum in California all through the 1980’s. Terry’s continual upbeat personality was infectious. If you were ever having a down day, just spend five minutes with Terry and all was good. His laugh, that twinkle in his eye when you knew he was up to something, his gentle warm engaging personality will forever be so fondly remembered. It is so good to know that you are now spending time with Jesus. I can’t wait to see you again my dear friend. Get my guitar ready. By the way, you still owe me five bucks. Until then…

You gave me life, You taught me how to love being a kid but that one day I would grow to be a man like you, You showed me that life had it’s ups and downs and that if I ever stumbled to always get back up, You helped me understand that people make mistakes and if I made them I needed to learn from them, You encouraged me to always be a hard worker because it was an ethic that would gain me respect, You instilled in me that a good man is always willing to learn something new and that it is okay to be wrong sometimes, You showed me that I would need to believe in myself if I ever wanted to change myself to better, You taught me that we have two ears and one mouth for a reason and that it was so we could listen more and talk less, You encouraged me to want to be better man although I was already a good man, And you showed me that it was okay for a man to cry sometimes and Dad I have never cried more than like I have cried today because today I have to say goodbye to you… I Love You dad, and I will miss you everyday until the day we meet again!!!! Rest Easy Buddy and know that I will do my best to make you proud and When I do I will feel your smiles like the warm breeze on a summer day!!?? You will never be forgotten!!

Terry – I miss you dude. Although we didn’t have a whole lot of interaction after you left California, we still had our online emails and pictures on Facebook. We had a lot of good times during the Brea and Lake Elsinore days. I went to the Arboretum a while back and remembered the Christmas trees we used to get. I still get a good laugh thinking of all the funny shit we used to do. Life sure isn’t fair. You left way too soon. Make sure you are keeping a good eye on Joshua, Aaron and Belle. See you on the other side brother.
